Family Faith Formation Home-based Registration reopens November 1st!
Currently, our Sunday Family Faith Formation is full and therefore we are no longer able to accept registrations for that model.
We encourage families to join us for our Home-based model of Family Faith Formation.
The Home-based model of Family Faith Formation aims to provide faith formation for every member of the family at their appropriate developmental stage. The parents commit to setting apart one night a week to gather as a family and go over the lessons with the children and teens. Parents will receive resources to help them live out the faith in the busyness of life, answer their children and teens’ questions, and strengthen their family prayer life. Parent Meetings
Parent Orientation will provide parents an overview of how this model works, how attendance will be collected throughout the year, and how to prioritize one night a week for Family Faith Formation using the materials and resources provided.
Zoom Meetings will provide families time to check in, ask questions, and assess how the model is working for the family.
Weekly Formation
The family chooses one night a week to go over book and resources
When a week is missed, we advise you reserve two nights the following week to go over the missed material as well as the material for that week.
Family Gatherings These are meant to bring the family together and break open a variety of theological themes through spiritual exercises, talks, and prayer experiences.
Parents attend with their children/teens.
We will start the gathering all together an open in prayer.
After prayer, the teens in 6th-12th grade will move to Youth Room/Annex for a group formation session. Parents who only have children in these grades go with them.
After prayer, children (Pk3-5th grade) and their parents stay in Parish Life Center for a group formation session.
Parents who have children in both age groups are asked to stay in the Parish Life Center with their younger children.
Attendance is critical and will be taken/recorded.
